Laminated films

Van der Windt supplies a range of laminated and barrier packaging suitable for products such as cheese, meat, cold sliced meat and fish for which a specific and longer shelf life is required after packaging. Depending on the construction of the film barriers can be produced against moisture (for example to prevent drying out), oxygen (slows down bacteria growth), or to retain a gas mixture added by the packaging machine as a preservative. The different types of film can be used for flowpack, transwrap, topseal and blister packaging applications. Films can be printed using either flexoprint or rotogravure (copperplate) on either a top layer or intermediate layer (sandwich printing).
